Southern Yellow Pine

Quinn Agro Limited sources pine wood from the southern region of the United States, where it grows in abundance. This highly dense wood is an excellent material for buildings because it holds nails well, has superior load-bearing capability and does not splinter easily.

 

SYP have a range of construction applications including beams, rafters, roof trusses, bridges, railroad ties, etc. This highly sustainable wood has a beautiful golden colour with distinct grains that are suitable for interior furnishings such as windows, doors, frames, mouldings and cabinetry. A variety of stains, varnishes, oils and paints can be used to finish this wood.
